Our Vision
The maritime industry deserves better software. Surveyors work with paper forms, shipyards manage orders in Excel, charter companies print handover protocols. There's a better way.
MaritimServices connects all players in the water sports industry on one platform: surveyors, charter companies, shipyards, dealers, and insurers. A damage case is digitally accompanied from the survey through the shipyard repair to the insurance settlement — without media breaks, without double data entry, all in one system.
The Founder
Sebastian Rydz
Certified Marine Surveyor for Damage and Valuation of Boats and Yachts (TÜV Rheinland)
It all started in 1998 with a completed automotive technician apprenticeship. Sebastian Rydz then dedicated himself to the repair of cars and trucks, gaining valuable technical experience. He solidified this expertise in 2004 by earning his master craftsman title in automotive technology, then founded his own expert office in Potsdam in 2009.
But another passion drew him in ever more strongly: the world of boats and yachts. His enthusiasm for water sports led him in 2011 to an additional qualification as a 'Certified Surveyor for Damage and Valuation of Boats and Yachts,' certified by TÜV Rheinland.
Today, Sebastian Rydz combines his technical expertise with his love for water sports. With MaritimServices, he brings his years of practical experience into a digital platform that solves exactly the problems he encounters every day.
